What is Shine Your Yoga?
Shine Your Yoga is the (other!)lovechild of Jonni-lyn Friel. It is not a new style of Yoga, a school or a dogmatic approach to Yoga. It is a philosophy, an inspiration a blessing to follow. The journey of Yoga for Jonni_lyn has taught her that it is healing, magical and sacred. All the different paths and parts of it. Her dream is to share her love and inspiration of Yoga in the way it has been shared and taught to her. Thus, Shine Your Yoga was born. Yoga is alive in each of us. All the light, all the beauty of the world is within us. We have just forgotten, lost our way, or listened to the people who believed we should be small, act small. Who do we serve when we are small? Our job, our duty on this planet is to SHINE. Shine with your heart, shine your light, Shine Your Yoga for all the world to see.

About Jonni-Lyn
Jonni-Lyn grew up in a unique environment to hippie parents, from which she first acquired a passion for yoga that makes it more than simply her profession. Joni-Lynn seeks to make a positive difference in her students’ lives through the wonderful concept of yoga.
Jonni-Lyn’s experience in yoga is extensive on both, formal and informal levels. Her initial passion for yoga was inspired by her parents, and by the age of 13, she had learned it enough to use it as a means to get through pre-teen anxieties. Since she has backpacked all over the world, she has indulged in yoga in many parts of the world. Her formal education began at the age of 27 as she enrolled in a yoga class. This opened up new horizons for her and her love for yoga bloomed further. By 2006, she was done with her first teacher training.
Jonni-Lyn truly looks at teaching yoga not as a profession but an honored tradition that only a few privileged people get to indulge in. She has developed her teacher training skills working with a variety of famous teachers from all over the world. She now utilizes all she has learnt and all she loves to help others find harmony and peace through yoga.
Jonni-Lyn Friel’s attitude and mindset are her specialty. She works in a positive, upbeat, and compassionate manner that works ideally with all of her students. She is making jokes and her class environment is always light and pleasant. When you’re within her teaching circle, you will find yourself to be relaxed, having a mindset that is ideal for yoga – which is the intended effect.
